At Arunodhaya Trust, we empower unemployed women through training in business skills, vocational training, and life skills to help them achieve financial independence.

Business Skills Training
Our 12-week workshop program (72 hours) covers employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the workforce or start their own businesses. -
Entrepreneurship & Vocational Training
Following the business skills sessions, participants develop comprehensive business plans and receive hands-on training to enhance their entrepreneurial capabilities. -
Life Skills & Civic Education
Our workshops focus on legal rights, health awareness, and personal development, empowering women to make informed decisions and take control of their lives. -
Empowerment Efforts
Training at Our Center
We offer practical skills training in collaboration with various partners, including government, private, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), to provide individuals with access to the best resources and equip them with the tools they need to succeed. -
Rural Outreach
Our programs extend to rural areas, including Landakanalli, Hulekal, Dasankoppa, and more, where we work to integrate women into economic policies and promote sustainable livelihoods.

Programs for Children & Adolescent Girls
At Arunodhaya Trust, we support vulnerable children and adolescent girls through comprehensive
welfare programs that provide education, skills, and protection.
Key Initiatives

SABALA Empowerment Program
Our SABALA program offers skill-based training for school-dropped adolescent girls (up to 18 years) across 11 taluks, focusing on independence, well-being, and personal growth. -
Child Labour Awareness
We educate communities about child labour prevention. Through targeted campaigns and observances such as World Day Against Child Labour, we raise awareness, promote safe, healthy environments, and advocate for policies protecting children. Our efforts aim to transform mindsets and secure a future free from exploitation, impacting lives. -
Summer Camps
Our summer camps provide fun, educational activities that build confidence, social skills, and personal growth in children, helping them develop into capable and compassionate individuals. -
Kannada Festival Competitions
In collaboration with the Women & Child Welfare Department, we organize school competitions across multiple taluks, celebrating Kannada culture, promoting creativity, and fostering a sense of community.
Through these efforts, we ensure that children grow up in a safe, nurturing, and opportunity-rich environment, equipped with the skills, support, and confidence they need to thrive and make a positive impact in the society.
1.Arunodhaya Santwana Women Helpline Centre
The Santwana Kendra women's support program provides counselling and rehabilitation to women who suffer from domestic violence, mental & emotional abuse, discrimination, dowry issues, marital conflicts, and social stigma. we are able to reach 403 families.
We work with women and Child Department and the police to ensure women's safety, justice, and social upliftment, enabling them to live with dignity.
2.Tean Age Pregnancy Awareness Programme
The safety of girl children is our top priority. Join hands with us to prevent child abuse.
Our Activities:

Providing support to victims.
Conduct awareness sessions in schools and communities on adolescent health, safe relationships, and prevention of teenage pregnancy.
3.Medical Campaign
Arunodhaya Trust has been actively involved in organizing medical health campaigns, our initiatives focus on providing essential healthcare services, such as general medical check-ups, dispensing medicines, and referring patients to specialized care when needed.
Free Medical Camps: Organized in slums and rural areas, offering general health check-ups, medicine distribution, and referrals to hospitals.


4. Pandurang Award Function
Every year on the occassion of Teacher's Day Arunodhaya Trust® , hosts Panduranga Award Ceremony for the renowned teachers of Uttara Kannada District honoring exceptional educators for their dedication. This year on September 5, the Trust organized this function at Ambedkar Bhavan, Sirsi. Awardees included :

5. Shishupalana Kendra (Creche) – APMC Yard
Arunodhaya Trust recognized the challenges working women face in balancing childcare and employment, and responded by establishing a Creche at APMC Yard, Sirsi. This facility provides a safe and nurturing environment for children, complete with age-appropriate toys, ensuring stress-free childcare for mothers and promoting healthy socialization for children. By supporting women's workforce participation, the initiative safeguards children's well-being while empowering mothers to pursue their careers.
